St. Vincent Health

Looking toward the future, St. Vincent General Hospital District has embraced the concept of a health campus where specialists, primary care, Lake County Public Health Agency, and other health-related offices reside in the old hospital building and synergistically complement services in the adjacent, new hospital facility.

Swing Bed

Skilled care for when you aren’t quite ready to go home after surgery or an illness.

St. Vincent Health Swing Bed offers the same services as a stay at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), except in a small community hospital where you receive extremely personalized care & attention. All rooms at St. Vincent Health are spacious and private. All 8 rooms have a view of the two highest mountains in Colorado – Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive.

Length of stays range from a few days to a few weeks, with the ultimate goal to regain strength and independence to return home.
