Kelsey Kuehn PT, DPT, CSCS is a doctor of physical therapy at St. Vincent Health. She’s a certified strength and conditioning specialist, in addition to being a pelvic floor specialist. Kelsey earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, and her doctorate at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.
She has a straightforward and encouraging patient care philosophy. “If you’ve ever had an opportunity to work with me in the clinic, you’ll hear me say ‘Ask questions – It’s your body, you should know what’s going on with it,’” Kelsey says. “I truly believe that our role as healthcare providers is to empower our patients with the tools needed to take ownership of their health.”
Kelsey is a true athlete, who loves all things about summertime in the mountains. She hikes, backpacks, mountain bikes, coaches CrossFit and competes in powerlifting. She also grew up playing soccer and spent my fair share of time in the physical therapy clinic as a patient. That inspired her education and career.
“Through my experiences, I witnessed how physical therapy facilitates you back to what you want to do with your life,” she says. “I decided to pursue physical therapy in order to provide that healing environment for others.”
