Richard Tsambikos, DO joined St. Vincent Family Health Center in 2024 as a full-time primary care physician. His clinic hours are Monday-Thursday.
Dr. Tsambikos has a life-long connection to rural communities. He was raised on a family farm in Oklahoma and studied at Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine. His residency was in Colorado Springs at Peak Vista.
Dr. Tsambikos and his wife Whitney have dreamed of contributing to a community like Leadville where they can bring their skills and experiences to make a meaningful impact.
Dr. Tsambikos believes that St. Vincent Health is vital. It not only addresses the health disparities often experienced by rural communities but also strengthens the community’s overall well-being. He prioritizes building strong therapeutic rapport with patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Tsambikos shares an enthusiasm for the outdoors with his wife. Their family includes – two dogs and two cats.
